Alfred 4.3 is out! And: Track holiday deliveries π π»
Alfred goes universal and adds Big Sur theming. Plus: Stay on top of your holiday packages with Alfred and Deliveries! π π»
Alfred 4.3 has been released
Alfred 4.3 has officially landed with support for Apple Silicon and Big Sur theming support, among many other improvements.
Alfred now runs natively on both Intel and Apple Silicon, whereas previously there were two separate downloads.
There are several theming improvements for Big Sur (several of which I proposed) and which you can see in the new Alfred Modern and Alfred Modern Dark themes.
Iβve released two themes to take advantage of these changes, including the new Big Sur-style window blur and ability to add more rounding to interface elements like the search box. You can see the former in my Craft-inspired theme and the latter in my Google-inspired theme.

Come show your support on Product Hunt! πΈ
Itβs been a while since Alfredβs been featured on Product Hunt so I went ahead and hunted v4.3. Would be great to see folks show their support and leave some comments to let everyone know why youβre excited about this release!
Track holiday deliveries with Alfred π π»
This year the number of packages Iβve received has gone through the roof. And itβs only going to get more intense as we enter the homestretch of the holiday season.
Fortunately thereβs an easy and effective way to track all your packages on your Mac and iPhone with JuneCloudβs Deliveries.app β and a little assist from Alfred!
Get Deliveries for Mac
First, youβll need to download Deliveries from the Mac App Store. This is a subscription app, but I find it highly worthwhile at $4.99/yr.
Deliveries lets you track all your packages in conveniently, and syncs across your Mac, iPhone, iPad, and ο£ΏWatch. It looks like this:
Get my Deliveries Toolkit for Alfred
Once youβve installed Deliveries, grab my *brand new* Deliveries Toolkit for Alfred:
It really only does one thing two ways, but if you end up with a bunch of packages coming at you, itβs everything you need.
Once youβve got the workflow installed, I recommend setting up a hotkey combo like β§β₯βD
so that when you get an email with a tracking number in it, all you have to do is select the text and then mash your hotkey combo to near-instantly add the package to Deliveries:
Alternatively, you can just use the keywords βadd
β, βtrack
β or just a β+
β followed by a space and then paste the tracking number to add the tracking number to Deliveries:
Come say hi on Discord! ππ»
Weβve had quite a few folks stop by the Discord server for Alfred fans that I set up. Weβve been sharing tips on using snippets, our favorite themes, and tossing around ideas and getting help on setting up workflows. Come say hi!
And as always, you can find my workflows and themes as well as my ever-expanding list of Custom Web Searches. Thereβs more to come (including, eventually!, snippets from my Alfred livestream) β so be sure to subscribe.
Happy holidays!
